How to measure your rooms
As a supply only service, we want to help you make sure that you order the right amount of carpet. Below is a measuring guide to help get you started. If at all in doubt, we advise you contact a professional carpet fitter.
At all times, you are measuring the furthest points of the room to ensure you have the right width of carpet. Allow for door insets and bay areas otherwise you may end up having joins in a room unnecessarily (or not enough carpet).

- We recommended that you add at least a 10cm cutting tolerance to all maximum measurements to allow for cutting and a perfect fit.
How to measure your stairs
There are several types of staircases which require different measurements.
For straight stairs, simply measure the length of the tread (inc overhang) and riser to get your area. Then multiply by the number of steps.
Once you have this number, measure the width of one step to calculate the total area required.

- We recommended that you add at least a 5cm cutting tolerance to all maximum measurements to allow for cutting and a perfect fit.
